exactly one week from today, as soon as I’m done with work for the day, I will be heading to the airport for a red eye flight to start my week long vacation in Orlando! I have been driving all of my co workers crazy with my non-stop talking about my upcoming birthday celebration and I’m sure they can’t wait for me to shut up about it! I’m also sure most of my friends are in the same boat, especially those who will be traveling with me because I went a  little overboard with the scheduling of our itinerary. But, in my defense, for those of you who have never been to Disney World before, this place is HUGE. This is not an exaggeration, there are four main theme parks, two water parks, two shopping areas (one including the world’s largest Disney store), and over forty hotel/resorts. Seriously, this place is not someplace where you can wander aimlessly and still see everything you want. Especially since we will be taking full advantage of our Disney Dining plan, which entitles us to seven sit down meals (and you know I have to maximize my food intake with the sit down meals) that all required advance reservations.

So the countdown has officially begun. Well, the reasonable countdown can begin now 🙂 I will admit that I have been counting down even before August ended.  Please be sure to keep an eye on this webpage to check out everything that I will be eating! We are traveling during the opening weekend of the Food and Wine event at Epcot, and I have also created my very own creme brulee crawl throughout the parks!
